Current Vacancies

 VME are a Sound, Lighting & Video company with a large portfolio of jobs, anything from a private marquee party to a touring arena production.  Perfectly located in Knutsford with fantastic access to the rail network and motorways including the M6 and M56.

We are looking to develop our core warehouse team to enable us to continue growing and keep the attention to detail we are known for within the industry.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who wants to come into the live events industry and develop their skills.

Normal working hours would be Monday to Friday 9-30am to 5-30pm on a 5 day a week contract with overtime paid outside of these days.  Due to the nature of our industry we will require some flexibility, weekend and night shift work may sometimes be required during busy periods.


The job role would be varied daily however some of the key tasks are below:

  • Prep, De-Prep of equipment inline with VME protocols to ensure all equipment is prepared to the job’s sheets provided, these could be dry hire that the clients are collecting or large-scale productions that VME are managing.
  • Maintenance of equipment ensuring all equipment is in working order, any faults or defects found are to be reported to management so they can be resolved accordingly.
  • Loading and Unloading of vehicles ranging from a small van to a large truck.
  • Ensuring that the warehouse is a safe working environment at all times is critical, cleaning and organization within the warehouse.


These would be the core duties for the ideal candidate however some flexibility would be required as other jobs arise to help different departments.

Although it is not crucial a Full UK Driving would be beneficial.  IT Skills would also be beneficial as training can be given to the selected candidate enabling them to use our inventory systems.
